Four More Heroes is no longer able to continue. There are many reasons why this has come about and too numerous to mention at this time. However, the continuous demand in personal, financial and logistical commitments along with personnel issues have played a major role in the decision.

Over the last six years, we met and made many friends and fans on our travels around the UK and it wouldn’t have been the same without you!

We would like thank our respective families for putting up with us and all the mibs and wibs who gave up their time to come and see us. If you missed us, then you'll never know!

Thanks to:  Mick Roberts and family for the Rose Farm nights and his unswerving belief in the band. Eddie Joyce who cultivated our web site back in 1998. Mark Paul of Foxy's Ruts for our name. Karlos for our logo. To the Burning Up Time Stranglers forum, Threatened, Wired and Stranglers.com and all the other web sites and their respective web monkeys for their views, reviews and support. And last but by no means least The Stranglers themselves (1974-1990) Hugh Cornwell, J J Burnel, Jet Black and Dave Greenfield for sculpting such an inspiring bunch of songs for us to dip into.

A special thanks to all the promoters who booked us and loved us and two fingers to the disingenuous liars and thieves.  I may write an `retrospective blog' about it one day.

Anyone who has the appetite for a Stranglers Tribute feel free to try Cinderella's slipper on!
